1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Anim ("we", "us" or "our") handles information in connection with the website anim.art (the "Site"). The Site presents our projects: Roblox games, a Discord bot and 3D animations. It has no accounts, no forms and nothing to buy.

This policy does not apply to the other sites and services the Site links to, such as shanksgames.com, the Shanks Bot dashboard, Roblox or Discord: they have their own privacy policies.

2. Who operates this site

Anim is operated on a non-professional basis by an individual based in France, the publisher of the Site, who is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. 3. Information we collect

Emails you send us. If you write to us, we receive your email address and the content of your message, along with anything else you choose to include. We use it only to answer you.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting server and our delivery and security provider (Cloudflare) process limited technical information when you visit the Site: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you request, and timestamps. This is generated by the normal operation of the web. It is used to keep the Site secure, to prevent abuse and to fix technical problems, never to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell it.

Audience measurement. To see which pages are visited and how fast they load, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics. It uses no cookies and no other storage on your device, does not identify you, does not follow you across other websites, and only gives us aggregated statistics: we never see individual visitors.

What we do not collect. We never ask for your name or any other detail about you, we do not run advertising, we do not use tracking cookies, and we do not follow you across other websites. If this changes, we will update this policy before the new feature goes live.

4. Cookies and local storage

The Site uses no advertising or tracking cookies, and our audience measurement stores nothing on your device. The Site only keeps the following, each needed for something you see or ask for, which is why no consent banner is shown:

• Your theme (light, dark or system), kept in your browser's local storage, only if you pick one with the theme button.
• "Intro already seen", kept in your browser's session storage so that the opening animation of the home page plays once per visit. It is erased when you close the tab.
• Security cookies from Cloudflare. Cloudflare may set a short-lived cookie when it needs to check that traffic is not automated, for example after a security challenge. It is used only to protect the Site.

None of this is sent to us or to anyone else. You can delete it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.

5. Links to other sites and services

The Site links to shanksgames.com, to the Shanks Bot dashboard (shanksbot.shanksgames.com), to Roblox and to Discord. Once you follow one of these links, that site's own privacy policy applies, for example:

6. How we use information

We use the limited information described above to run and secure the Site, to answer your emails, to produce aggregated statistics about how the Site is used, to fix technical problems, and to comply with legal obligations. We make no automated decisions about you.

7. Legal basis for processing (EU and EEA visitors)

• Consent: handling the emails you choose to send us. You can withdraw it at any time.
• Legitimate interest: keeping the Site secure and working (technical and security logs), delivering its fonts, and understanding its audience through aggregated, anonymous statistics.

8. Sharing of information

We do not sell your information. We share limited information with the providers that let us run the Site:

• OVH: our hosting provider, for the server that runs the Site and for our email inbox.
• Cloudflare: delivery, security (protection against attacks and bots) and anonymous audience measurement, in front of our server.

These providers process information to provide their service. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the rights, safety or property of Anim, of our visitors or of the public.

9. International data transfers

Because we use global infrastructure providers, the information described in this policy may be processed outside your country, including outside the European Economic Area. Where this happens, our providers rely on the safeguards required by law, such as standard contractual clauses.

10. Data retention

Technical and security logs are kept only as long as needed for the purposes above, then deleted or anonymized. Audience statistics are aggregated and contain no personal data. Emails you send us are kept as long as needed to handle your request, then deleted.

11. Children's privacy

The Site does not ask its visitors for personal information. If you believe a child has sent us personal information without a parent's or legal guardian's permission, write to [email protected] and we will delete it.

12. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• ask what information we hold about you and get a copy of it;
• ask us to correct inaccurate information;
• ask us to delete information we no longer need;
• object to or restrict some processing;
• withdraw your consent, where processing is based on it.

To exercise these rights, write to [email protected]. If you are in the European Union, you may also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority (in France, the CNIL).

13. Security

We rely on reputable infrastructure providers and reasonable technical measures to protect the limited information we handle. No method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy, for example when the Site gains new features. The "Last updated" date at the top shows the latest revision. If a change is significant, we will make it clear on the Site.
